I’ve recently been to Superdrug and couldn’t help but to
pick up a few things. The Superdrug that I visited was only a small one and unfortunately
there wasn’t a huge range of things, and shockingly there was no Revolution!!
But here’s what I picked up.
You can never have too many eye shadow brushes, so I thought
I would give this a try considering it was too cheap to walk past! It feels
really soft and I love the shape. Think it will come in really handy!
Rimmel
BB Cream Matte: Light - £6.99
This was a repurchase, I noticed that I was running low
and needed to get another tube. This is such a lovely BB Cream, is has just the
right amount of coverage and is really light and natural. Even though this is
matte, is does give skin a very natural dewy look, without adding shimmer. I
apply it with my fingers and would definitely recommend!
Essence
I heart nude Eyeshadow: 05 My Favourite Tauping - £2.49
This is a baked eyeshadow and it swatches really nicely
and blends out very well. It’s a really natural colour, so I thought it would
be great to build up with other shadows.
Superdrug
Pump Bottle - £1.59
This is part of the travel range, which look like they
would be perfect for your holidays. I’m planning on putting a baby shampoo and
water mix in this pump and using it to give my brushes a quick daily wash to
keep them fresh in between washes, by pumping it on to a cotton pad and wiping
my brushes on the pad. I’m thinking of investing in a few more for mine and Rob’s
long weekend away.
MUA
Blusher: Bon Bon - £1.00
I’ve heard a lot about the MUA blushers and thought it
was about time I gave one a try. This is quite a browny pink blusher, which was
very different than the blushers I currently own so thought I would give it a
try. It looks quite natural and not too in your face, it reminds me a lot of
No7 Damson blusher. I haven’t tried this yet, but the swatch in the store was
very pigmented.
Collection
Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer: 1 Naked - £4.99
I have been reading blog posts about this for ages and
when I walked past it in Superdrug I thought that it was about time I gave in
and bought it! I’m expecting great things!!
Rimmel
Kate Moss Nude Collection Lipsticks: 40 and 45 - £5.49
If you haven’t heard of these yet then you have most
certainly been living under a beauty rock! I was yet to give these a try and
after reading a thousand reviews on them lately I just had to get some. I am so
pleased with them and can’t wait to give them a try. There are 5 nude shades,
40 is the palest, and 45 has a slight red tint.
MUA
Eyeshadows: Platinum and Copper - £1.00
These eyeshadows look absolutely gorgeous, they are so
shimmery and such lovely colours. And for £1.00 each, how could I not have
picked some up. I haven’t tried these yet, but the swatches in store looked so
pretty and pigmented.
Zoella
Original Collection Fizz Bar - £5.00
I’m sure you’ve already heard about the Zoella range at
Superdrug, so I won’t bore you with all the details. This is from the original
collection, not the new Tutti Fruity range. I picked up the new one first, but
then when I smelt this one I thought it smelt much more indulgent, so I thought
I would give it a try.
Superdrug Face Masks - 99p
Every time I go in to Superdrug I always pick up a few of
these, I absolutely love them, they keep my face super soft and clears my break
outs up.
Have
you tried any of these, what do you think?
What
have you bought from Superdrug recently?
The eyeshadows look amazing! I've recently got the Collection concealer as well, but we did not get on well unfortunately, hope it will be good for you though xx
