MAC Pro Palette

I finally got myself a MAC pro palette (it’s been a long time coming) and I am so excited to fill it up! I got a 15 shadow palette and 3 shadows which are all very different but all fantastically beautiful in their own way. I absolutely love the idea of creating my own palette with only my favourite shades in it, so I am very excited to get started.

Honesty
This is a beautiful shimmer shadow. It isn’t very pigmented but it is packed with bronze shimmer. It is so blendable and leaves behind an amazing bronze glow. It’s great at making a neutral eye look, pop! It’s totally different than anything else I have and I am loving it. In the pan it looks quite pearly but when swatched it gives a much richer colour.

Red Brick
This shade is completely different than any other shadow I have. This is a completely matte red orange. I am really in to my oranges now that we are getting closer to Summer and I think this is the perfect edition to my collection. It is quite bold and super pigmented but it’s definitely blendable. Absolutely love it and I am so excited to try and create some really amazing looks with it.

Carbon
This is a really intense matte black, perfect for a smokey eye look because it is so blendable and you can easily build it up for a crazy intense look. Really standard shade and I know I will get so much use out of this. Loving it and so pleased I picked it.

I tried to pick three completely different shadows because I think that when you buy an eyeshadow palette they tend to stick with a theme, neutral, bold, smokey. And being able to create my own palette allows me to pick lots of different shadows and put them all together. Really loving it and so happy with my purchases!
What MAC shadows do you love?

Have you got any of these shadows, what do you think of them?

  1. Red Brick is absolutely gorgeous! I could imagine it look lovely with a plain black or white outfit for a pop of colour! Honesty is such the perfect all-lid colour, am yet to create my own Pro Palette with MAC but there are so so many shades xx
