I have chosen 3 very different primers to compare for the
battle of the primers. A budget, a standard and a luxury primer.
Luxury
Primer
Laura
Mercier Foundation Primer £29
This primer is by far the best primer that I have ever
used. It is very lightweight and is quite a creamy gel, feels a bit like a
moisturising gel when you apply it to your skin because it doesn’t have that
waxy finish. Smells gorgeous and keeps makeup perfect all day!
Standard
Primer
No7
Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer £19.99
I have used this primer for a very long time, since I
started using it, they have changed the packaging, it is now fights against
signs of ageing, which is great, but it also goes up in price every time I buy
it. This has the usual No7 scent, but does leave the waxy finish on skin.
However it keeps makeup untouched all day long and works just as well as the
Laura Mercier primer!
Budget
Primer
George
Face Primer £5
This has absolutely no scent, and applies very well and
easily. It leaves skin feeling like there is absolutely nothing there. But it
didn’t help keep my makeup intact, and left me looks very patchy within a few
hours.
The battle of the primer winner has got to be the No7 Airbrush Away Primer! It works
equally well as the Luxury brands but for less money. And that is exactly what
we all want!! Boots did it again!
Have you tried these primers? What did you think?
What is your all time favourite primer?
I've never tried any of these primers. I definitely should

The Color Palette
I really want to start using primers more and your suggestions will definitely help, great post! Also I just love Boots, their own brand products are of good quality and affordable which I love.

The Rimmel stay matte primer is the only one I've ever used - and I love it so far. It feels nice on my skin/doesn't break me out, and it increases the lasting power of my makeup!
