Oct Superdrug & NewLook Haul

So this week I have been shopping to pick up some presents for two of my best friends that share a birthday, we are having a girls weekend away in Blackpool to celebrate, consisting of a day at the fair and a girls night out. Whilst wondering around the shops looking for presents I thought it would be rude if I didn’t get myself a few treats, most of these were from the Superdrug 3 for 2 sale and one is from New Look. I also bought a gorgeous scarf from Topshop.

 Eylure False Eyelashes – 070
In preparation for our night out I picked up some false eyelashes. Eylure are my absolute favourite brands for eye lashes, I love the quality of them which means that they are completely reusable and the glue is great. No 070 are one of my favourite sets, they aren’t too long but just add loads of volume to your lashes. So they’re perfect if you want to tone it down a little.

Superdrug Face Masks
I love these masks, I always pick some up when I nip in store, to make sure my stash is regularly topped up. I got the chocolate orange and the white chocolate masks which are two of my favourites, and also picked up the Sugar and Spice Self-Heating Mask, I’ve never tried this one before but thought it would be good for Autumn.

Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray
I haven’t tried this yet, but I’ve heard some great things about so every time I’ve been in to a Superdrug I’ve had a look and it’s always out of stock, but this time I finally got my hands on it. I’ve not tried it yet but I did give it a little spritz on the back of my hand, it left the skin feeling really soft which I was surprised about. But it definitely doesn’t smell very appealing. Very excited to try it out in Blackpool and see if it can last a whole night of dancing!

Revolution Eye Crease Brush
I have been asking around to find out what the best crease brush is, because I am desperate to find the perfect one. When I saw this for such a cheap price I thought that I would give it a try. The bristles are quite soft and very compact which is what I was searching for and I absolutely love the rose gold packaging!

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation – 100 Ivory
After reading countless posts about this foundation, deeming it the best drug store foundation I thought it was only right that I gave it a try. I’m really excited to try it out and let you all know if I think it is worth the hype!

Sleek Contour and Blush Palette – Light
This contour kit contains a contour shade, a highlight shade and a blush all put together in a cute compact complete with a mirror. The contour shade isn’t too dark and muddy and isn’t too orange, it’s a lovely medium brown shade which looks really buildable. The highlight shade is quite peachy and very shimmery. The blush is quite a neutral pink but contains a lot of shimmer. Looking forward to giving it a try and letting you all know what it’s like.

New Look Pure Colour Lipliner Pencil – Shell Pink
This pencil is really easy to apply and not too drying like some liners can be. The colour is very similar to my natural lip colour so it makes a great base for all lipsticks. Absolutely love it and will definitely be buying some more colours. I wish I had also picked up the Aubergine, it’s a stunning colour and perfect for Autumn/Winter.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
Please comment and let me know where to find the perfect crease brush.

  2. Ooh that Superdrug autumn mask sounds perfect for a lazy sunday tucked up in a blanket. I'd love to hear if the Revolution setting spray is any good, I love their palettes.
