I feel like I
haven’t written a post in forever! During the past month I have been so busy
with work and also planning some super exciting things for the blog. Me and Rob
also went on holiday to Whitby which was so nice and relaxing. So now that I am
back I think it’s about time I told you about my June favourites. I hope you
had an amazing month!

May 16 Favourites
I hope you
have all had an amazing and sunny May, I can’t believe how quickly this month
seems to have gone, throughout May I have tried so hard to work on my fitness
levels and get myself back in to a fitness regime so I have had a pretty
sensible month! I’ve worked very hard and treated myself with a few shopping
sprees. As well as meeting my best friend’s gorgeous baby girl, a family
wedding and a couple of girlie nights out. So I thought I would share with you
my May favourites!

April 16 Favourites
April has
been a difficult month for me, I have been so poorly this month and feel like I
have spent the whole month either lay in bed or at the doctors. I had an
amazing girls night out for my best friend’s birthday and threw a baby shower
for another of my best friend’s birthday, I’ve done a couple of nice things but
mainly just lots of antibiotics and Harry Potter. But the times when I have dragged
myself out of bed, these are the products that I have been reaching for.

MONUspa Rosewood Reviving Mist Review
I am having a
really difficult skin moment right now, my skin has changed from combination to
extremely dry and I am really struggling to adapt my skin care routine to
accommodate my new skin type (any recommendations please leave a comment, I
could definitely do with some help). I think that now that I am no longer a
teenage my hormones have changed a lot and my skin has lost all of it’s
moisture making my makeup constantly looks cracked and clingy. So in order to
combat this, I have been reaching for the MONUspa Rosewood Reviving Mist.

Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade
I have waited
too long to talk to you all about the Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade. I
purchased this back in February along with the number 12, Large Synthetic Duo
Brow Brush, and I have been getting a lot of use out of it since then!

Manna Kadar Conditioning Lash Primer
We never
forget to condition our hair in the shower or moisturise our skin before bed,
but no one ever tells us that we should be conditioning our lashes! Whenever we
complain about our hair not growing longer or looking thicker, hairdressers
just tell us to look after our hair better, deep condition it more, get it
trimmed more regularly, don’t cram it full of product, and then once your hair
is healthier, it should also look healthier. So many people want thicker,
longer eye lashes, but never actually do anything to try and make that happen.

Spring Nail Varnishes
I don’t know
about you, but I am really feeling Spring this year. I am loving Spring makeup
looks, Spring fashion, not having to wear a giant coat everytime I leave the
house and of course Spring nails. So I thought I would share with you the nail
varnishes that I am loving this Spring. There are a few pastel colours and a
couple of brighter shades, but they are all perfect for brightening up your digits
after the Winter blues.

Stationery Haul
So as you all
know I am obsessed with stationery, I am currently starting my CIMA qualification
and I am really struggling to get my head in to it. As a way of trying to
encourage myself to do more studying I have been out and bought a lot of new
stationery! So I thought I would show you what bits I have bought!

MAC Pro Palette
I finally got
myself a MAC pro palette (it’s been a long time coming) and I am so excited to
fill it up! I got a 15 shadow palette and 3 shadows which are all very
different but all fantastically beautiful in their own way. I absolutely love
the idea of creating my own palette with only my favourite shades in it, so I
am very excited to get started.

Spring Lush Haul
Happy Easter!
I hope you all had a fantastic day and ate all the chocolate! I spent my Easter
doing lots of Easter baking, some Easter crafts with my nephew, a Easter Egg
hunt and of course a big Sunday dinner! Easter means that we are well in to
glorious Spring and I thought I would celebrate by doing a blog post on my
recent Lush Spring Haul. If you follow me on Snapchat (megandoesbeauty) then
you will have seen lots of snaps of these cute Lush goodies.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit
This review
has been a long time coming, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Kit has
quickly become a firm favourite of mine. I purchased the Light palette, and it
has 6 cream shades, 3 highlights and 3 contour shades. The highlight shades are
all really different, there’s a very light shade, a peachy shade and a banana
shade, so there is something for everyone’s skin tone. The 3 contour shades are
pretty similar but they differ slightly in warmth.

February 16 Favourites
I am very
late with my February favourites and I haven’t posted in over a month. I haven’t
had the best month, so I’ve been taking a little break from blogging. I’ve had
a lot of things going on, especially with work and I’ve been feeling very over
whelmed and super busy, but this week I am feeling much more positive and back
and ready to chat. Due to me being super busy and in work constantly I don’t
have loads of makeup favourites to show you, so I thought I would share with
you some lifestyle bits that I have been loving recently.

Makeup Brush and Tool Collection
I thought it
was about time that I shared with you my favourite makeup brushes of the
moment, I have a lot of makeup brushes and tools, some I use every day, some
that can be used to apply virtually every product and some which I couldn’t
live without. So without boring you with every single brush that I have I
thought that I would pick out some of my favourites to tell you about in case
you are in the market for a particular brush or just want to try something new.

January 16 Favourites
Welcome to
the first monthly favourites of the year, I hope you all had a great January
even though it has flown by. I love January, for me it is a month that
symbolises new beginnings, a step towards making yourself the you that you want
to become. This month for me has been focused on work, studying and healthy
eating. I started back on my old healthy eating and exercise regime, over the
past 4 weeks I have lost a whopping 11 pound and 3 inches from my waist and 1.5
inches from my hips, so this month has consisted of a lot of random favourites
including recipes, foods and lifestyle bits but for now here are my January
beauty faves!

2015 Makeup Favourites
2015 was a
great year of makeup for me, I’ve done a bit more experimenting this year when
it comes to makeup and I have tried a lot of new things. This year I have
broken my favourites down into categories because it was getting too difficult
to just pick a handful of products. It was quite hard to think back to the
start of 2015, but I have just tried to pick things that I have been constantly
picking up through the year. So I hope you enjoy!

Christmas Presents 2015
I hope you
all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year, today is a little depressing for me
as it’s the day that I have to take down the Christmas tree, so before the
festivities completely disappear for another year I thought I would tell you
about the Christmas presents that I received this year – which I am super
grateful for. I’ve concentrated only on beauty because I didn’t want to bore
you too much with every pressie I got (but definitely let me know if you would
like to see a post on all other pressies). So here are some of the beauty
goodies that Rob, my family and my friends got for me this year!

New Year Resolutions 2016
Happy New
Year everybody! I hope you all have a lovely New Year’s Eve and have a great
day today. My mum is cooking a dinner today for the family to get together and
celebrate the start of 2016, which will be the perfect way to shift this
hangover! 2015 had some real lows and also some great highs. I always feels
like the start of a new year is the perfect excuse to forget about the lows,
brush them off and move onwards, however I do always think it is a good time to
reflect on all the good times and be thankful for what we have!
