October 2015 Favourites

October has been a great month for me, we had a girls weekend away in Blackpool and it was my Mum’s birthday so we went out for a lovely meal. I will be sad to see October go because it’s been a great month, but I am definitely excited to start November and get in to party season! Here are a few products that I have been continuously reaching for, for the whole of October.

Soul and Soap Shower Soufflé – Forest Berry
Buy: here
This is a dense mouse, when you rub in between damp hand it turns in to a foam. I keep reaching for this in the shower because the smell is absolutely phenomenal. It’s really fragrant and has a fruity fresh scent. The smell lingers on your skin even after drying off. It has a few beads in it, so it exfoliates your skin, but the beads aren’t too rough so it can be used every day and is delicate on skin. See what I thought of some other Soul and Soap goodies: here

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Body Lotion
Bombshell is my all time favourite Victoria Secret scent, it’s a floral scent but a little masculine and musky. This moisturiser sinks in to skin so easily and leaves skin really soft. Absolutely love it and it smells gorgeous.

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer – 002
I’ve been using this primer all month long, it applies really easily and leaves skin looking smooth and matte. Really love the feel of this and it makes my makeup last all day. I use this for general day to day use, so it is definitely tried and tested.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation – 100 Ivory
I was a little late on this bandwagon but when I spotted it a couple of weeks ago in Superdrug I thought it was time that I gave in to the hype and tried this foundation out and I have worn it almost every day since. The coverage is really nice as it isn’t too cakey, but still provides enough coverage to even skin out. The colour is perfect and the smell is lovely and fresh. I love the way it looks on my skin, but it definitely applies better with a damp beauty sponge rather than a brush as the formula is a little thick, so it need a little extra work to get an even finish.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer – Fair
This concealer is a little light for me, but I love using it to highlight and lighten up around my eyes. I love the wand because it means you can really pile on the product. It’s really easy to blend and it’s really delicate on my skin. Absolutely love it, definitely my favourite concealer right now!

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss – Lunch Date
This is such a lovely colour, it’s a nude pink it’s a lovely neutral wearable colour. It’s super shiny without being too sticky and gloopy. Love it and love the packaging and it has the most amazing smell, please someone tell me what the scent is!! Reached for this so much this month because it’s goes with everything!

Barry M – Starry Eyed Palette
I bought this palette a little while ago and haven’t had a lot of use out of it until this month. There are 6 eye shadows and one blush, the blush is like a pink apricot colour with loads of shimmer in it. The eyeshadows are made up of a matte beige, a matte maroon and a matte dark burgundy, a shimmer midnight blue, a shimmer bronzey gold and a shimmer burgundy. Due to the being in the middle of Autumn I have definitely introduced some reds in to eye look. This palette has some great Autumnal colours in it, especially the matte maroon and shimmer burgundy. I have used this palette to make lots of different looks this month, because the palette is quite small, it doesn’t have enough shades to make a complete eye look, but it makes a fantastic edition to my collection!

Have you tried any of these products? What were your favourites?

What have you been reaching for this month?
