Spring Nail Varnishes

I don’t know about you, but I am really feeling Spring this year. I am loving Spring makeup looks, Spring fashion, not having to wear a giant coat everytime I leave the house and of course Spring nails. So I thought I would share with you the nail varnishes that I am loving this Spring. There are a few pastel colours and a couple of brighter shades, but they are all perfect for brightening up your digits after the Winter blues.

Rimmel Lasting Finish – 501 Fancy A Dip?
Rimmel nail varnishes are one of my favourites, they last so well without chipping and apply so easily, and are also incredibly cheap! This shade is like a baby blue, very bright and looks amazing in the sun, but isn’t too in your face. Definitely a great choice if you are looking for a colour that is a little bit different.

Angelica – Mint Mania
I love Angelica nail varnishes (I have way too many) because their colour range is amazing, they have so many beautiful shades and are such a bargain at £2 each! This is a beautiful pastel mint shade with a slight shimmer to it, so flattering on the nails and looks so good with a bit of tan (from a bottle). If you follow me on instagram (here) or snapchat (user name: megandoesbeauty) you will have seen this varnish appearing ALOT.

Barry M – 305 Pink Flamingo
This is the brightest shade that I have chosen, it is a true bubble gum pink. It’s definitely more of a medium pink than a pastel but still really lovely for Spring. One of my favourite nail varnishes because it is super wearable. Really love it, and it adds a bit of colour to your nails. Barry M varnishes apply so easily and last really well.

Tanya Burr – Duvet Day
This is such a gorgeous shade, it’s a pastel grey/blue. Really wearable and I always get compliments when I have it on my nails. Absolutely love it, such a good purchase and can be worn year round!

Angelica – Mango
A stunning pastel peach/orange shade (without naming too many fruits) it is perfect for Spring and I have had so much wear out of this so far. It is really muted so goes with so many outfits! It is also part of the Angelica scented range, so it leaves your fingers smelling like 90s gel pens!

Avon – Lemon Sugar
This varnish needs a couple of coats, but once it’s built up it looks so cool! It’s a very different, attention grabbing shade. A pastel lemon shade that looks amazing with tanned skin. Definitely one to look for if you are after something a little different.

NCLA – 012 Like... Totally Valley Girl
NCLA isn’t a brand that I have really experimented with but I adore this shade. The pink is a lot more blue than the Barry M varnish which makes it really interesting. It is a pastel pink so really wearable and is a go-to for my toes!

Rimmel Lasting Finish – 053 Apricot Punch
A true apricot shade, it makes a change to the dark oranges in Autumn and the bright oranges in summer. It’s a real inbetween, wearable varnish. Absolutely love it and have had so much use out of it. One of my all time favourites.

Ciate – 010 Snow Virgin
A completely white varnish, you need a couple of coats to make this colour really stand out, but I absolutely love it. So perfect for Spring and it’s a little bit different than all of the shades that everyone is wearing.

Angelica – Sugar Daddy
This is a pastel lilac, so wearable and looks beautiful in sunny spring. It’s such a girly colour and looks perfect with a feminine rounded nail. Like all of the Angelica varnishes I am obsessed with the colour.

Hopefully this will help you find some new varnishes to look out for next time you are shopping!
Have you tried any of these varnishes? What did you think?

  1. Love your post I'm a bit of a nail polish lover and these colors are absolutely beautiful. Haven't been able to get my hands on any of Tanya's polishes but I hear they are great! Can't wait to see your next post.
