August 15 Glossybox

This month’s Glossybox, like all the others did not disappoint! It contained 5 products, 4 of which were full sized that were all very different but all really great! There was no particular theme this month, and the box was it’s usual plain pink and black Glossybox design. So here’s what I thought of the products.
MeMeMe Lipglide – Playful Peach
£6.95 - shop here
This is a chunky lip crayon, the colour looks great on, it’s a coraly peachy pink (if that’s a colour) and it applies really easily and keeps lips soft. It is matte, but doesn’t leave lips looking and feeling dried out. I have tried a couple of MeMeMe products and really like them.

Manna Kadar Lash Primer
14.55 – shop here
This is a creamy gel formula from the US that you put on your lashes before applying mascara. You apply it with a wand, the same as a mascara, it comes out really creamy and feels and looks a little strange. Leave it to dry and set for 2 mins, then apply your normal coats of mascara. It definitely makes lashes look longer and holds the curl. It also claims to nourish and condition your lashes.

Emite Artist Colour Powder Blush - 108
£20.95  - shop here
This is a blusher/bronzer hybrid powder from Sweden (a ‘blunzer’ as Glossybox put it), this is used to add warmth as well as contouring the face. This looks a little scary, but actually works very well. The powder is very loose, and also quite pigmented, so tread carefully. Apply lightly with a big fluffy brush (I used my Real Technique Powder brush) to your cheeks and up over your forehead and down the jaw line, it gave a really natural summertime glow, without the need for blusher! Great for travelling and taking with you on the go!

Naobay Calming Face Toner
£10.65 – Shop here
Naobay is a Spanish brand that I absolutely love, I have tried a few of their products and I am never left disappointed. The toner unlike the other products that I’ve tried is fragrance free. It removes make up, but unlike some other toners it doesn’t leave your face with a sticky film over it, it makes it feel soft and moisturised.  And claims to be 99.13% natural

Sass Purifying Cleanser
£7 – shop here
Sass specialises in products for your intimate area. I know there is a weird stigma around purchasing and using products specifically for your queen, but Sass seems a lot more socially acceptable. Whether that’s down to it’s name or it’s packaging or the fact that not everyone in the world has heard of the brand, I don’t know, but it doesn’t seem as embarrassing. It is sold at Boots, and the purifying cleanser is essentially a shower wash, it doesn’t seem to have any scent at all and it claims to balance your PH levels, while cleansing and energising.

What did you think of August’s Glossybox?

Have you tried any of these products before, what did you think?
