What's In My Bag Feb 2016

Hi Everybody and Happy Friday! The weekend has finally arrived again, today I am working all day, then going to the gym, then hopefully chilling out in front of the tele! So today I thought I would do a ‘What’s in My Bag’ post, I am super nosey so I love reading these blog posts and watching the youtube videos, so thought I would share with you all exactly what’s in my bag. If you follow me on snapchat you will have already seen a lot of my handbag contents - if not, come follow me on snap: megandoesbeauty

Christmas Party MakeUp Guide

As we all know, one of the best and also most stressful parts of December is the amount of parties that we need to get ready for. Our nails, tan and makeup needs to be in tip top condition at all times during the month, which isn’t easy when we don’t have any money and spend all our free time in Christmas pyjamas eating mince pies. My birthday is slap bang in the middle of December so I have an added party that I need to get ready for. So I decided to compilea little Christmas Party makeup guide to give you a helping hand.

September 15 Favourites

It’s that monthly favourites time again! Another month over and another month closer to Christmas (sorry!!), after saying goodbye to September we can now welcome October, and undoubtedly welcome Autumn, woooo! (cue the countless Autumnal blog posts). September was a stressful month for me, filled with revision, exams, car break downs, buying a new car, having my new car hit by a runaway driver, hospital visits and finishing off the month with the all clear from my doctors and passing my exams! But even after ending on a high my usual makeup and skin care routine took a bit of a hit, this month my skin has been awful so there are a couple of skin care favourites and as I have worn hardly any makeup due to hibernating to study most of the month, there are only a couple of faves for when I have reached for the war paint!

Festival Makeup Tips

My brother and his wife didn’t manage to get Glasto tickets this year, so instead they decided to host a Glasto BBQ. This is basically a regularBBQ, but everyone wears typical festival clothes (wellies of course) and there was a tent and UV face paints in the garden. Now festival makeup has to be light, sweat resistant and glowey (glitter is optional but definitely recommended). Try to keep makeup light purely because it will be less noticeable when it starts to run, smudge or fade, due to excessive wine and of course jumping around wildly waving your arms in the air like you just don’t care.
